Crispy Parmesan Kale2014-11-01

Everyone loves kale chips. The parmesan adds a twist to the flavor.
- 1 Bunch Kale, ribs removed and leaves torn
- 2 T Olive Oil
- 1/2 tsp Fresh Black Pepper
- a few dashes Red Pepper Flakes
- 2 T grated Parmesan Cheese
Pre-heat oven at 350 degrees F.
In a large bowl, toss all the ingredients together until kale is evenly coated.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread kale out in a single layer (if it is piled high, then it will steam and wilt vs. bake and crisp).
Bake 10-15 minutes. Watch carefully so it does not burn. Serve hot.
Short Cut: Pick up a bag of pre-washed & cut kale at Trader Joe’s.
Think Out of the Ice Box: If you can’t find kale at your local market, then try rainbow or swiss chard or any other dark, leafy green available.
