Chips & Guac … need I say more??? Interesting fact: Avocado is a stone fruit (the same family as mango) and is sometimes referred to as The Alligator Pear.
- 4 Ripe Avocados
- 1 Jalapeño Peppers, deseeded & minced
- 1 Lime, juiced
- 1 Garlic Clove, minced
- Salt & Pepper TT (to taste)
Cut avocado in half, remove the pit and scoop out the flesh. Mix with lime juice. Smash in mortar & pestal or in a bowl with a mixing spoon or potato masher.
Mince the jalapeños & garlic. (Cuidado/Caution: Jalapeños can be quite spicy. The heat is in the seeds. Wear gloves when working with hot peppers. ALWAYS wash your hands with cold water after you touch them...and avoid touching your eyes!)
Combine all the ingredients & season with salt & pepper.
