Miso glazed cod sounds like something you would only order at a fancy, Japanese restaurant…But it’s NOT!  You can make this at home in less than 30 minutes.

  • 4 skinless cod filets, 6 ounces each
  • 1/4 Cup White Miso Paste
  • 1/4 Cup Mirin/Japanese Rice Wine Vinegar
  • 2 T Sugar

Step 1

Combine miso, miring and sugar in a small sauce pan. Cook over a low flame on stovetop until all ingredients are combined.

Step 2

Place fish in a baking dish with sauce.

Step 3

Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until fish is cooked through. Flesh should be white/opaque and internal temp should read 145 F.

Short Cut: Make the sauce of time and refrigerate.  Fish can marinade in sauce refrigerated for up to 3 days.

Think Out of the Ice Box: Try this with Sea Bass.
