Breakfast from Tempel Farms Organics CSA Box

Farmers’ Markets are a sure sign that the Midwest summer has begun.  The other day my daughter and I spent that day at Tempel Farms Organics in Old Mill Creek, Illinois.  After picking up a CSA (community shared agriculture) box from the market tent, we went back to my friend’s house and truly thought “out of the box” as we cooked up some delicious summer treats for breakfast. We prepared a savory Strawberry Rhubarb Compote for Muesli and baked Blueberry Scones.  These are a perfect match for fresh farm milk or good old fashioned mornin’ coffee.
