Kale Chips

Kale is a superfood that can be enjoyed in a salad, smoothie or even as a chip.  This recipe is quick and will disappear quicker than it takes to bake.  If you have kale that you aren’t ready to use today, then see the video below on how to prep your kale to last up to one week in the refrigerator.

Crispy Parmesan Kale

Everyone loves kale chips. The parmesan adds a twist to the flavor.

Ingredients

Yield: 4 servings
  • 1 Bunch Kale, ribs removed and leaves torn
  • 2 T Olive Oil
  • 1/2 tsp Fresh Black Pepper
  • a few dashes Red Pepper Flakes
  • 2 T grated Parmesan Cheese

Instructions

Step 1

Pre-heat oven at 350 degrees F. 

Step 2

In a large bowl, toss all the ingredients together until kale is evenly coated.

Step 3

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Spread kale out in a single layer (if it is piled high, then it will steam and wilt vs. bake and crisp).

Step 4

Bake 10-15 minutes. Watch carefully so it does not burn. Serve hot.
