Miso Glazed Cod

Miso glazed cod sounds like something you would only order at a fancy, Japanese restaurant…But guess what?? You can make this at home in less than 30 minutes.

Ingredients

Yield: 4 servings
  • 4 skinless cod filets, 6 ounces each
  • 1/4 cup white miso paste
  • 1/4 cup mirin / japanese rice wine vinegar
  • 2 T sugar

Instructions

Step 1

Combine miso, miring and sugar in a small sauce pan. Cook over a low flame on stovetop until all ingredients are combined.

Step 2

Place fish in a baking dish with sauce.

Step 3

Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes or until fish is cooked through. Flesh should be white/opaque and internal temp should read 145 F.

Notes

Short Cut: Make the sauce of time and refrigerate. Fish can marinade in sauce refrigerated for up to 3 days.
